AC Shadows Unveils Surprising AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that challenges traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana alongside multiple objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
