I'll overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
