It was a display that clearly signaled their title credentials as they reinforced their place at the WSL pinnacle.

This outcome signalled back-to-back WSL losses for Skinner's side for the maiden instance since spring 2024, leaving them a sizable gap off the top team with their title hopes hanging by a thread.
